About us

Event technology is a people business. Here's how Two Jax got here, and the standard we hold to from the first call to the last case rolling out of the hall.

Our Story

It started with two Jacks.

A few hundred show floors later, we're still the crew you want when the event absolutely has to go live.

  1. 2009

Two Jacks, one job done right

Two industry veterans named Jack retired out of IBM and decided retirement wasn't for them. They started doing the one thing they knew cold: keeping IBM's networks and internet running at events across the country. When a show couldn't afford to lose its connection, they were the call. The name was never more complicated than that. Two guys named Jack.

  2. 2019

    Handed to the next crew

After a decade as the network guys, Jack handed the company to his protégé, Steve Murphy. Steve brought in a group of longtime friends from the industry and widened the scope well past the wiring closet.

  3. Today

    The whole technology side

Two Jax now covers an event end to end: A/V and LED, show-floor networking (still our roots), content built in house, and custom activations. The clients changed. The standard for getting you live did not.

The Crew

Who you'll actually meet

No posed headshots. This is the crew on load-in, in the shop, and at the tech desk, which is where you would meet them anyway.

Two crew members handing off a piece of gear at a blue counter during load-in, ladders and rigging behind them
Two crew members in Two Jax shirts on the warehouse floor, checking something on a phone between tasks
A technician cabling a rack column in the shop
A crew member in a Two Jax shirt facing a stack of LED tiles in its support frame during assembly
Three crew members at the Two Jax booth at Exhibitor Live, a branded counter in front of them and an LED wall running concert footage behind
A crew member leaning over a curved LED wall section, checking the tile seams in the shop
Two crew at the tech desk on site, laptop open and the booth lit blue behind them
