Elastic at AWS re:Invent 2025

Photo log

Elastic wanted a booth game, so one of our developers wrote the quiz and then built the arcade cabinet it runs in. A live LED leaderboard beside it kept score, inside a booth we ran end to end at The Venetian.

The AI Challenger is a real arcade cabinet: joystick, four lettered answer buttons, and an AI quiz on the screen. Every score posted to the LED leaderboard above it, which is what turns a game into a competition.

The part worth knowing is who built it. The developer who wrote the game also built the cabinet it runs in, carpentry and engineering included. Elastic’s team supplied the machine’s graphics and we printed them locally in Vegas with a vendor we trust.

Around it we ran the rest of booth #1111: a four-piece LED hanging banner driven by a media server for takeover moments, a six-by-seven theater wall, a schedule wall, demo pedestals, audio, lighting, and the booth’s own network behind a security gateway.
